Cantilevered Steps
These cantilevered steps started out as a teardown and rebuild of an old farm wall. Right before we started the client saw some stiles in a low wall and asked if it would be possible to do a similar thing here. Coincidentally, I had just acquired 8 eight foot long pillars that were holding up an old barn on the other side of town. You can see in the progress shots, a fair amount of backtracking and it was worth it. Thanks to Chris Rawlings and Waterhouse Pools for the help.
